Swellendam Garden Club / Tuinbouklub has pleasure in announcing that it will be holding an inaugural GARDEN EXPO in November this year.
|
|
The event will showcase the natural beauty of Swellendam and surrounds, it’s gardens and heritage of which we are all so proud. We hope to make it an annual event at which the whole community may participate. A project team of volunteers is already hard at work planning and organising the event.
|
|
The EXPO will be opened by our Executive Mayor, Francois du Rand at a function on 4 November. Thereafter we will have two days of Open Gardens from 5-6 November, garden-themed market stalls, garden talks and demonstrations of interesting related topics. Tickets will be available online and may be purchased in advance or on the day. The primary beneficiary this year will be Swellendam SPCA.

Garden clubs and members from around the Western Cape and further afield will be invited and will have an opportunity to interact with nature and get to know Swellendam and Railton. All are welcome.

- offering catering, guesthouse and restaurant links at cost-effective rates
