Only 4 more days to go until the Art in the Secret Garden Swellendam Exhibition. The weather forecast is looking good. Last year this was such a fun day so come along and view the wonderful works of our Overberg artists. The exhibition is being held in the historic gardens of one of Swellendam’s oldest historical monuments, Auld House. The artists will be exhibiting under the shade of one of the oldest magnolia trees in the country. The UNDER THE OAKS MARKET is next door and will be packed with the usual delicious eats and drinks. Please come along and enjoy this special day with us.

There are some very interesting presenters lined up for this evening - and a great opportunity for exhausted hospitality owners to relax and share loadshedding and other horror stories with others who 'get it'! WE are holding it on a Monday evening because we would love to have as many restaurant and guesthouse reps there as possible.
Joubert Tradauw will be presenting wines, there are cocktails from Wildebraam and Rebel Gin will also be available for sampling - canapes from Morne Oerson, jointly sponsored by Umshanti and SwellenGram. All followed by a few presenters and an open discussion about innovative ways of getting our area onto everybody's bucket list.

UP FOR ADOPTION AT SWELLENDAM SPCA: GRETAL
GRETAL was given to family members after the original owners had moved. She was then surrendered as they did not have the means to care.
GRETAL is a sweet and gentle young lady with the most beautiful brown eyes. She enjoys treats and sitting on your lap. GRETAL wants to be in or arms or close to you for most of the day. GRETAL is unreactive towards cats and well socialised with other dogs. When it comes to other female dogs, a calm one would be preferable.
