The Hackers' Club (along with Swellendam Conservancy, Cycling Club, Rotary Club, Hospice, SPCA - just a few of the 18 speakers) had their two minutes in the spotlight.

I always fluster when time runs out, & was glad I had a flyer printed to go into each Realtors Goodie Bag. Plus, one of the newly printed Swellendam Tree Guide as a surprise gift.

Some guests put their bags in their cars before socialising, I was disappointed when no-one owned up when asked about it.
|
.Anyway, all were told about the guide, which identifies unwanted trees & invaders in the Weztern Cape, with a section on how, where, why & which indigenous trees are recommended
|
|
This guide is available @ Bokmakiri Bookshop & is a fundraiser for assisting our voluntary group, The Hackers Club with tools of the trade to combat & manage alien invaders in our municipal commonage south of Marloth. To preserve & conserve our unique ericacious fynbos/renosterveld habitat.
