Pulling for Glorious Gold
This weekend past, Swellendam successfully hosted the SA Junior Tug of War Championship for 2023. There was a record number of 338 team entries and Swellendam also hosted the English Junior squad.
All the local schools who participated came away with a haul of medals of every colour - proving once again the dominance of the well trained, competitive teams in Swellendam and Buffeljags. Good luck as you move forward into the International Championships.

Young Allan Table from Swellendam- has been selected to play in the Elsie Coetzer Hockey School (ECHS) Invitational Tournament 1st - 9th October 2023 in the Netherlands.

A huge honour for him, his family, school and town. One that it may not be possible for him to participate in unless he can raise the funds to attend.

He would ideally be in a home with a female playful companion and no cats.
