Nearly every time the Swellengram goes out, there is a notice from the Swellendam SPCA regarding an animal who needs a loving home. A dog that was overlooked time and time again, for no discernible reason, became quite a regular - until it looked like there was no hope for him, the longest resident at the kennels. So it was such a delight to see this photo of him on the SPCA facebook page, where Happy Updates are posted weekly.
