BOJANGLES Small mixed breed Born 07.06.2022
PAST HISTORY
BOJANGLES was found on the N2 by kind Swellendammers, who after much difficulty and many bites later managed to get this terrified and neglected dog into their care and brought him to the SPCA. BOJANGLES was full of fear and the need to self protect when he arrived. It took us a week to finally gain his trust and to allow us to touch him... His entire coat was so matted to his skin and he had hot spots where it was matted. The poor boy did not know that we were trying to help him. With daily treats and snuggle sessions together he finally let his guard down.
Today BOJANGLES can be quite a playful boy when he is settled and comfortable. He becomes the most obedient boy when you have some treats to offer him. He is socialised with dogs but a slow introduction with any dogs on the property would be ideal as he does not trust other animals easily. A home with no young children is recommended.
BOJANGLES does not trust easily and makes his voice known when he is around people he does not know or trust.
After all the trauma this boy has faced he has decided to give humans another chance and to let his guard down once more. This special boy so badly deserves a happy ever after!!!
