A SAD DAY FOR SWELLENDAM
The events that unfolded this morning were shocking on so many levels.
It's difficult to create a happy clappy Swellengram as if nothing had happened, so a reduced one follows.
You will all have seen the many images and videos that have been shared all over social media, this is just one of the many heartbreaking scenes today

Problems are still persisting in Railton and rumours of further protests this afternoon
Checkers and Spar are open with reduced staff
Bontebok Park is closed
Refuse collection will not take place
Most restaurants will not be opening owing to the staff not being able to get to work

Sweet GIGGLES was picked up as a stray dog while she was heavily pregnant. After three days in kennels, she gave birth to 5 healthy puppies.

GIGGLES has been the most loving and dedicated mother. Her puppies are fat and fully weaned.
Sweet GIGGLES is now looking for a home where of her own. She would be the best companion dog ever.
She is VERY loving and gentle with the sweetest puppy dog eyes.
GIGGLES loves treats and going for walks

. She is house trained and is well socialized with other dogs and unreactive towards cats.
