The Swellendam Golf Club is rated as one of the top nine hole golf courses in South Africa and welcomes visitors, both local and from abroad. It is well situated between Cape Town and George, offering the perfect stop over in the historical town of Swellendam.

Ranked 17th out of over 200 nine-hole golf courses in South Africa , we are also proud to be included in the WESTERN CAPE, Top 25 Courses list on the “SA Top 100 Courses” website.
Well maintained and offering beautiful views, the par 72 golf course sits up against the magnificent Langeberg mountain range. Designed and built by Ken Elkin in 1947, the course continues to test all levels of golfers and offers a good variety of difficulty.
Open to the public 7 days a week, the clubhouse is open daily from 07h30 to 19h00, except on Sundays (08h:00 – 17h00).
Facilities include changing rooms, caddies, carts and a putting green.
Our well stocked Bar offers a range of beverages for you to enjoy. Watch the sports on TV while enjoying a “cold one” after your game or pop up in the evening and enjoy incredible sunsets.
The Golf Cafe offers breakfasts, brunches and lunches and is open to both members and non-members, from Wednesday to Saturday.
The perfect “halfway house”… Golfers are welcome to place their orders, before teeing off or as they pass the clubhouse en route to the 7th hole.
