The association aims to promote and further the public’s interest and appreciation of heritage matters. Talks and outings are arranged, usually every month when possible. The association has an informal approach to its events with the idea of members and visitors enjoying the event in a relaxed atmosphere usually accompanied with beverages and snacks after the function. Membership is for one financial year (Apr – Mar) per person. Cost per session can be less than R90 depending on the cost of the speaker for the event Visitors are welcome at R120 per event Beverages and adequate snacks are included in the session cost where provided. Frequency, start time and end times can vary. Membership Fee R150.00 Average cost per session R90.00
