Christelle’s Bistro is a cosy, funky, relaxing, unique little French Bistro set in the historic town of Swellendam, the 5th oldest town in South Africa, with a beautiful garden. The Bistro is our dream created out of years of experience working in the hospitality industry all over the world. Chef Josia is heading the kitchen and his French wife Christelle, the friendly hostess. Our passion and desire has led us to where the restaurant is today. Christelle’s Bistro was established in 2021, with strong European influences, Christelle being French, with South African flair. Each dish is created with flavours that complement one another. The menu is changed according to season as we believe in only preparing with the freshest ingredients. We also cater for vegetarians and vegans. We are pet friendly and  also have some snacks for your furry children.
