Our Swellendam Restaurant, The Conservatory, on it’s way to being one of the best restaurants in Swellendam, plays host to intimate candlelit delectable dinners in our gorgeous purpose-built Conservatory.  With Chef Jason Whitehead‘s guidance, mentorship and inspiration; Alison, the owner, Lena and Rowena carefully prepare a sophisticated South African menu complemented by truly delicious wines. These are hand-picked from the celebrated verdant regions of Swellendam, Robertson, Barrydale and Malgas.

During winter, from May through July, we close our restaurant for dinners and work together with our local eateries to support each other.  Especially post Covid.

August through April, we open if enough restaurant bookings, so please do remember to get in touch before your stay.
