Short summary

The main responsibility of this position is to ensure physical & theoretical stock match and that stock processes are adhere to.


  • Coordinate, capture and report on weekly, monthly and year-end stock counts
  • Ensure accuracy of stock records on system
  • Investigate stock discrepancies in various departments as well as liaise with the stock controllers across the relevant branches to check stock on hand against System stock
  • Investigate discrepancies of in-transit warehouses
  • Expired stock & Rework management
  • Custodian of the work in process warehouse
  • Assist with Chep exchange follow-up
  • Continuous improvement of existing processes
  • Maintain a close working relationship with all relevant departments
  • Adhoc tasks as per Manager

Key Competencies:

Education and skills

  • Grade 12
  • Relevant tertiary qualification essential (Finance related diploma / degree)
  • Literacy in Microsoft Excel / Word
  • Knowledge of SAP will be advantageous


  • 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar environment

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure on a pro-active basis
