Responsibilities:

  • Manage the front office, make sure reception area is neat, clean and tidy at all times
  • Manage switchboard which entail answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls whilst providing basic information to customers as well as liaising with staff
  • Manage the availability of meeting rooms
  • Arranging couriers
  • Order and manage all stationery and office supplies
  • General administrative and clerical support
  • Relief for receptionist in main office building
  • Willing to be at SOILL on short notice
  • Training to be given

Key Competencies:

Education and skills

  • Grade 12
  • Computer literate
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures

Experience

  • 1 year reception experience

Interpersonal skills

  • Friendly
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Afrikaans
  • Customer service orientated
  • Punctual
  • Presentable
  • Attention to detail
  • Take responsibility & accountability
  • Reliable
  • Willingness to learn
