Short Summary: 

The main task of this position is the administration of the weighbridge integration programme and all related controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Access and Exit control:
    • Compare documentation with load that is being taken out and in
    • Compare dispatch loads to the loading instructions
  • Documentation control:  Gathering, filing and handing over the necessary documentation for all shipments leaving or entering the premises
  • Administration of Weighbridge:
    • Administer & control workflow of vehicles over the scales
    • Weighing of vehicles
  • Administration of site keys and fleet card controls
  • Site supervision through patrols and spot checks

Key Competencies:

 Education and skills

  • Grade 12
  • Be able to write and speak Afrikaans or English
  • Must be computer literate

Experience

  • At least 2 years’ experience in administration

Interpersonal skills

  • Must have clean criminal record
  • Energetic
  • Procedural driven
  • Have high sense of integrity
  • Excellent time keeping
  • Focused
  • Customer service orientated
  • Work independently, with a high degree of responsibility
  • Good leadership skills
  • Detailed orientated
